Our mission is to change lives and transform people. We are a community dedicated to maximizing human potential. We attract people who are ready to make a change in their lives and we help them to get better, stronger, healthier, happier. For those who are held captive by your health, we invite you to join us and reach levels of physical and emotional strength you never thought possible. Fitness is Freedom. Our Community
One of the greatest aspects of Silver Star CrossFit is the sense of community and camaraderie. The athletes that work out at our box are not "clients" but are friends. Finishing a WOD can be an emotional experience, and having a friend there to cheer you on and congratulate you when you have conquered the workout is priceless. Our community is diverse. We welcome people of all ages and fitness levels and bond with them as we laugh together, cry together and sweat together. Our goal is to create an overall awareness of health and fitness and elevate the general level of fitness in our community.
Our Philosophy
We believe in the power of the human spirit, and the vast potential of the human body. We seek to empower each individual to acheive far more than they previously thought possible. One of the greatest human emotions is that of triumph. It is so satisfying to see people who used to be held back by their self-imposed limitations overcome their fears and accomplish something they previously thought they were incapable of. John Steinbeck said, "It is the nature of man to rise to greatness if greatness is expected of him."
The Symbol of the Silver Star
The Silver Star medal is the third highest award for bravery in combat given by the United States military. The Silver Star honors service personnel who display exceptional valor and gallantry in action. Here at Silver Star Crossfit, we honor our military and their selfless sacrifice for our freedoms. We have chosen the silver star as our central symbol because of the values which are embodied in the Silver Star medal. These brave servicemen deserve our appreciation, so we willingly give them their due respect.
