FOUNDATIONS CLASSES

CrossFit is one of the fastest growing movements within the fitness industry.  As a result, thousands of people are joining CrossFit around the world every day.  As we experience this growth here at Silver Star CrossFit and welcome many new friends to our community, we want to make sure that you receive a proper introduction to CrossFit.  We have created the Foundations Class to provide you with a broad overview of the CrossFit ideaology and methodology.  We will also provide detailed instruction on the proper technique of the fundamental movements and exercises used in CrossFit.  Our priority is safety and efficiency in all our movements, so these classes are essential to get the most out of your CrossFit experience.  

 

Foundations Class Schedule

Foundations classes will be held two days per week on Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 pm.  There are a total of 4 foundations classes so they can be completed over the course of 2 weeks.  If you would like to attend classes in addition to the foundation classes during the week, you are permitted to do so.  We will simply provide you with alternative exercises if you encounter a movement you have not yet learned.

  • Sumo Deadlift High Pull

  • Medicine Ball Clean

  • Power Clean

  • Foundations W.O.D.

 

Foundations 4

  • ​Pull-up Progression

  • Wall Balls

  • Kettlebell Swings

  • GHD

  • Box Jumps

  • Foundations W.O.D.
